Care for my Drowsy Silk Eye Mask

To maximise quality and durability of your mask, we recommend:

pH neutral liquid detergent - We recommend Drowsy Deep Shine Silk Detergent
hand wash below 30°C (86°F), or cold (preferred washing method for silk longevity and care)
machine wash delicate below 30°C (86°F) (delicates wash bag), or cold.
no trichloroethylene
do not iron
dry flat in the shade
do not bleach
do not tumble dry
do not dry clean

Traditionally, silk is hand wash only. Drowsy silk is of the highest quality so they are machine washable, but they are still silk and need as much care as we can give them.

ALWAYS use a ph neutral liquid detergent and/or fabric softener. Silk is a natural fibre and washing in a solution that’s too acidic or alkaline can cause the silk to harden in a single wash. If you can't find a detergent that specifies ph level then just go for one that specifies silk. Do not use bleach products.

Another important factor is water temperature. Even just slightly above 30 degrees Centigrade or 85 degrees Fahrenheit can change silk dramatically. The safest method if your machine doesn't specify exact heat settings is either cold or just one level above cold.

A delicates bag is optional, depending on your washing machine and whether or not it tends to grab items and tear them.

If you wish to maximise the life of your eye mask, hand washing is the ultimate method. Silk products should not be exposed to sunlight after washing. Leave to dry naturally, laid flat in a well ventilated area. Ultraviolet light can cause fading, ageing and discolouring of silk.

Designed especially for washing the Drowsy silk sleep mask. Drowsy Deep Shine has been specifically created to enhance and retain the texture of silk fibre. Colours retain their brightness and the silk its softness.

Les dosages sont spécifiés pour une dureté d'eau moyenne.

Lavable en machine : Sur un cycle soie ou délicat à 30°C (86°F) dans un sac de lavage délicat. Ajouter 2 bouchons pendant la phase principale du programme de lavage.

Lavable à la main : 1 bouchon pour 7-10 L d'eau. Immergez votre soie pendant environ 10 minutes dans de l'eau tiède, lavez délicatement, rincez bien, pressez mais ne tordez pas. Ne pas sécher près de la chaleur ou à la lumière directe du soleil. Repasser à basse température.

Enlever les taches : Mettre une petite quantité de Drowsy Deep Shine sur la zone tachée, laisser tremper environ 10 minutes, puis laver normalement et ne pas frotter. Avec ce dosage, le contenu sera suffisant pour 24 lavages à la main ou 12 lavages en machine. Ne pas sécher en machine.

Ingrédients

Drowsy Deep Shine est basé sur des ingrédients naturels. Ingrédients selon les recommandations de la CE : 15-30% tensioactifs anioniques, moins de 5% conservateurs : sorbate de potassium, parfum, limonène, hexyl cinnamal, citral, linalool. Tensioactifs basés sur des ressources renouvelables. Biodégradable selon le test de dépistage de l'OCDE : facilement biodégradable.
